"No, this isn’t a typical drag show. Xana DuMe, the Drag Tap Dancing Queen, which closed its too-brief run at the Triad on April 4, has a go-for-broke energy that transcends its archness. The star never drops out of character, but when the dancing becomes hectic she grows eager, delighting in her speed and physicality. Xana is a dancer first, and only secondarily a style-setter and fashion plate." The Dance Enthusiast's Brand of Review/Thoughts on What We See
"The most dramatic and exciting choreography was wisely saved for the encore, “Vera Cruz” (Milton Nascimento); it highlighted the breadth and depth of Felipe Galganni’s talent. The tapping remained as infectious, inventive, and inviting in the eighth song as it was in the first—a remarkable achievement. He is one of those rare dancers who seem to be able to tap not only the rhythm but the melody. Watch for the return to Pangea of Bossa Tap Trio. I know I will." Bistro Awards
(...) In “Fuga,” Felipe Galganni juxtaposed the precision of tap with the curvaceousness of capoeira, the Brazilian martial art. As two crouching, cartwheeling capoeiristas and six tappers wove through one another to Baden Powell’s “Berimbau,” their musicality was contagious. The New York Times
(...) Brazilian tap dance virtuoso Felipe Galganni choreographed and created “TAP & TOM,” an hour-long show that merged two distinct cultures that have common roots for a perfect marriage of rhythm.
(...) One of Jobim’s more curious songs is “Waters of March", the tall, long-legged Galganni had a photo of Jobim on a table and put on a hat similar to what Jobim wore and masterfully sang and danced to the song. Explore Dance

(...) All My Trials, choreographed and performed by Felipe Galganni was an emotional number. You could definitely feel the dancer's heavy load in life in the room. Galganni has such clean and crisp sounds. Broadway World
(...) The program concluded in a light and enjoyable piece entitled Simpler Times by Felipe Galganni with vocals by Jackie Ribas and Tony Romano on the guitar. It looked like a fun dance that is all about the footwork. I particularly loved the parts of unison. Galganni was inspired by organic movement in this joyful, relaxed, and carefree piece. Broadway World
(...) Ms. Bufalino’s crisp, satisfying “All Blues/Tacit” — performed earlier by the frisky Felipe Galganni and Lynn Schwab, with a vocal solo for Mr. Waag — would have been a more fitting end to an invigorating show. The New York Times
(...) While there I had the opportunity to get to know an brilliant young tap dancer and a all around fabulous guy, Felipe Galganni. Since moving to New York from Brazil three years ago Felipe has been busy teaching, choreographing and performing all over the city. While in town I got to see the premiere of his piece "Reverie in Rio", performed by Felipe himself alongside Lynn Schwab and Chikako Iwahori and singer Jackeline Ribas. Monkey House
(...) In both programs Felipe Galganni’s work was featured, originally from Brazil, the New York based tap dancer has developed a unique style using Samba and Bossa Nova. It is very interesting to watch. He is a great young dancer. It makes clear the reason why The American Tap Dance Foundation and Tony Waag kept bringing Felipe on stage over time. In my opinion, in a few years Galganni will represent a distinguished voice in the tap world. We are going to see some spectacular show made by him. Dance Cube - Japan
